Freaky Flavors: Marillen + Pilze / Apricots + Mushrooms

Banner-Freaky-Flavors

A day late, but more freaky than ever 😉 I asked you on facebook what the next flavor combo will be and you had some great ideas. But none of you guessed right: apricots and mushrooms!! Thats not the more freaky part, I think this combo is special, but it kind of sounded right from the beginning on. Recently Max had the idea to fill a roast chicken with minced meat – that was already kind of freaky, but then we paired it with apricots and mushrooms 😉 The minced meat was kind of classic, with onions and spices, and some cut apricots and mushrooms. As a side dish I served the following chutney:

Beides (also Huhn und Chutney) waren sehr lecker!!

Both (Chicken and Chutney) were yummy!! The Chutney is quite sweet, I can imagine it with some chili, mmmh. And before I wish you a great weekend I want to tell you that it could be a bit quiet on the blog in the near future – I’ll tell you why, I just have to figure out how! 😉 I wish you a great weekend!!
